Dorine Tschudy

Postdoctoral researcher
CIBM PCI EPFL Metabolic Imaging Section

Dorine Tschudy completed a scientific preparatory class with a focus on Physics and Engineering Sciences at Lycée Kléber in Strasbourg in 2021. She then pursued an engineering degree in Biomaterials and Biomechanics at the Université de Technologie de Compiègne and was a Biomaterials Engineer Intern at Volumina Medical till February 2025. Throughout her academic journey, she developed a strong interdisciplinary background in the design, optimization, and characterization of biomaterials, with a particular interest in understanding how their physical and chemical properties influence their integration within the body.

In May 2025, she joined the CIBM Center for Biomedical Imaging PCI EPFL Metabolic Imaging Section thru a Innosuisse-funded project in collaboration with Volumina Medical under the supervision of Dr. Bernard Lanz. Her work focuses on the preclinical evaluation of biomaterials. She is particularly involved in their physicochemical characterization, contributing to the development of regenerative medicine solutions intended for clinical translation.
