Abele Michela
EEG HUG-UNIGE Clinical and Translational Neuroimaging Section
Abele Michela is a Post-Doctoral researcher in the CIBM EEG HUG-UNIGE section under the supervision of Tomas Ros.
He has obtained a PhD from Radboud University Nijmegen in 2024. The focus of his doctoral work was centered on the use of in-action HRV biofeedback, delivered in a VR environment, to help police officers keep in control under threat. His master degree from University of Geneva was centered on the use of EEG neurofeedback for treatment of stroke and attention-related disorders. He holds a bachelor degree in biotechnology from EPFL. The general focus of his work is on intervention science, through neuro- and bio- feedback. His areas of interest include physiological and EEG signal analysis, dynamical systems, VR design, police training, education and philosophy of science.
