We are pleased to announce that CIBM core members Dr. Oscar Dabrowski and Dr. Sébastien Courvoisier from the CIBM MRI HUG-UNIGE section have been awarded the “Coup de Pouce Prix du Jury” during the 18th “Innovation day” on October 17, 2024 at HUG for their work on SISMIK, an innovative AI-driven system that corrects motion artifacts in MRI scans. This approach leverages deep convolutional neural networks to estimate motion trajectories directly in k-space, enabling retrospective correction of motion artifacts through traditional methods that are robust against deep hallucinations. The project is driving the field toward promising solutions for addressing patient motion in MRI, paving the way for new innovations in medical imaging.
