Over four days at Chateau de Varennes in France, the CIBM CHUV MR Retreat 2026 under the leadership of Prof. Ruud van Heeswijk combined five keynote sessions spanning cardiovascular and abdominal MRI, translational research, emerging frontiers, and automation with interactive poster walking tours showcasing the work of our PhD students.
A round-table on “Creating Impact” brought senior academic and industry leaders together to discuss how methodological innovation can translate into meaningful scientific and clinical impact.
The scientific program was complemented by a Pub Quiz, informal discussions, and the traditional Dinner & Awards, providing ample opportunity for exchange across disciplines, institutions, career stages, and academia–industry boundaries.
