GEDAI (Generalized Eigenvalue De-Artifacting Instrument) is a novel algorithm for denoising highly contaminated M/EEG. GEDAI employs leadfield filtering to selectively remove noise and artifacts that diverge from a physics-informed EEG generative model.

Following its initial integration into the widely used EEGLAB toolbox, GEDAI was featured in the latest EEGLAB Newsletter, marking an important recommendation for its adoption by EEG researchers.

Building on this momentum, GEDAI has now been fully integrated into the Brainstorm toolbox, enabling its application to both EEG and MEG data. The Brainstorm tutorial on GEDAI provides a step-by-step guide for users, highlighting the software’s versatility and ease of use.
These developments reinforce GEDAI’s role as a valuable tool for researchers seeking advanced and accessible solutions in data-driven neuroimaging analysis.
