International Symposium on Biomedical Imaging – ISBI 2027

The IEEE International Symposium on Biomedical Imaging (ISBI) is a premier scientific conference dedicated to the mathematical, algorithmic, and computational aspects of biological and medical imaging across all scales. It fosters knowledge transfer across imaging communities and promotes an integrative approach to image-driven discovery in biology and medicine. ISBI is a joint initiative of the IEEE Signal Processing Society (SPS) and the IEEE Engineering in Medicine and Biology Society (EMBS).

As 2027 marks the 25th anniversary of ISBI’s first edition, co-founded by Michael Unser, Head of the CIBM SP EPFL Section, we are proud to celebrate this milestone at the SwissTech Convention Center on the EPFL campus in Lausanne from 25–28 May 2027, with members of the CIBM Leadership serving on the organising committee.
