I got a License in Computer Sciences in 1987 from the University of Geneva, then a Master in Computer Science in 1988 from Strasbourg University. My first positions were related to 2D electrophoresis gel, image analysis for agricultural robotic, and Computer Vision & AI.I Joined the Functional Brain Mapping Lab in 1996 to implement visual and auditory stimulations for EEG Evoked Responses.Shortly after, I started a project nicknamed “Cartool”, aimed at rewriting existing analysis code, and developing new toolboxes. It now contain EEG signal processing, micro-states analysis, inverse solutions full pipe-line computation, MRI processing toolboxes. It also contains a lot of interactive visualization, a keypoint for proper scientific analysis. Cartool is distributed world-wide for free, and allows other labs to apply our latest research tools on their own data.
