Abstract
In an era where robust findings in neuroscience are increasingly under scrutiny, my work focuses on two critical pillars of improving reproducibility: standardizing preprocessing pipelines and rigorously characterizing the reliability of functional and diffusion MRI-derived networks. While this meticulous approach offers essential insights, the challenge lies in reconciling the need for methodological rigor with the pressure to produce field-specific discoveries. This talk will explore the complexities of ensuring that the tools we rely on are as reliable as the conclusions we draw from them.
