Prof. Valentina Garibotto, Head of the CIBM PCI HUG UNIGE Molecular Imaging Section, played a leading role in the European Association of Nuclear Medicine Focus 7 event (EANM Focus 7) held in Palma de Mallorca in Spain between 5 and 7 February 2026, an international meeting that gathered more than 200 participants and 31 experts from 36 countries under the theme “Molecular Imaging for a Personalised Treatment in Alzheimer’s Disease.”
Prof. Garibotto coordinated this consensus among experts on diagnostic markers for optimised patient care in Alzheimer’s disease. She will also oversee the resulting publication of best practice recommandations which is under preparation.
Her participation highlighted CIBM’s active role in advancing molecular imaging and fostering collaboration across clinical and research communities.
