Volunteers needed for EPFL research study

This study would require:

  • A pre-selection visit to the CIBM located at the EPFL campus to verify that you are suitable for the study (duration: 30 minutes)
  • Two visits to CIBM at EPFL campus on the same day (8:00 a.m. to 9:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m.), whereby each visit would include:
    1. MRS (magnetic resonance spectroscopy) measurement of brain energy metabolites (40 minutes)
    2. A saliva cortisol test
    3. A test that assesses impulsivity, administered in the form of a video game (10 minutes)

No blood samples will be taken.

All data will be processed according to a procedure that fully respects confidentiality.

A financial contribution will be given to you.


Conditions of participation:
  • You are a male between 18 and 40 years old in good health.
  • You are not claustrophobic.
  • You do not have any metal implants.
