Mario Lepore obtained a diploma in Biology at ETH in Zurich followed by a Ph.D. in Neuroscience at the University of Lausanne. After working several years in developing rodent transgenic models of heart deficiency at CHUV, he joined the CIBM as technical scientist in 2010. With a strong background in molecular biology, histology, microsurgery and experimental biology, he contributes greatly to realization and success of the studies. His additional competencies in animal welfare, biosafety and radioprotection guarantee high work quality and safety at the CIBM-AIT core unit.
