I am a scientist at Signal Processing Lab (LTS5) at the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology (EPFL), Lausanne, Switzerland. I am leading computer vision team of LTS5 for a number of projects focusing on machine learning and computer vision. My previous role as a postdoctoral Researcher at IBM has seen me lead development of novel deep learning based methods in medical image analysis leading to peer-reviewed papers and patents. My research interests lie in the general area of machine learning, medical image analysis and computer vision particularly in deep representation learning.
