SUMMARY:BBL/CIBM/FCBG Research Day 2024
DESCRIPTION:\n \nWe are delighted to announce the BBL/CIBM/FCBG Research Day 2024 will be held on May 15 in the Marcel-Jenny Auditorium, Geneva University Hospitals.\nThe CIBM  Center for Biomedical Imaging launched the first annual MRI research day in 2008 with aim of gathering MRI experts from Geneva and the Lemanic region. In 2010, the event included other members of the CIBM community with MRI infrastructure such as  the University of Geneva’s Brain and Behaviour Laboratory (BBL) and in 2018, the  Human Neuroscience Platform at the Foundation Campus Biotech Geneva (FCBG).\nThe one-day event is an opportunity to review the status of ongoing MRI projects and activities, share experience, difficulties and benefit from a unique exchange platform between physicists, physicians, and neuroscientists.\nSee highlights from the 2023 edition here: https://cibm.ch/highlights-of-the-bbl-cibm-fcbg-research-day-2023/ ( https://cibm.ch/highlights-of-the-bbl-cibm-fcbg-research-day-2023/ )\nDOWNLOADS\n\n2024 BBL/CIBM/FCBG Research Day – Program (PDF)\n2024 BBL/CIBM/FCBG Research Day Poster Session (PDF)\n\n \n REGISTER NOW HERE\n \n \n SUBMIT POSTER INFO HERE\n \n PROGRAMME\n8h45 Welcome\n\n\n9h00 Session 1 Chaired by Patrik Vuilleumier\n\n\nAnchoring emotional memories in time and space\nAlison Montagrin (PI: Sophie Schwartz, UNIGE)\nNeural networks underlying embodiment and sensory mechanisms in vocal emotion production\nGarance Selosse (PI: Didier Grandjean, UNIGE)\nPlace-related neural activity sets the stage for empathy\nMarius Vollberg (PI: David Sander, UNIGE)\nPsychosocial feedback reactivity and effects of mindfulness during early adolescence\nZeynep Knight-Celen (PI: Camille Nemitz-Piguet, HUG)\n\n\n10h20 Coffee Break\n\n10h40 Session 2 Chaired by Frédéric Grouiller\n\n\nProstate MRI at 7T : technical challenges & first results\nThomas de Perrot (PI: Jean-Paul Vallée, HUG)\nFunctional imaging and FLAIR at 7T: protocol optimisation and clinical application\nEmilie Sleight (PI: Frédéric Grouiller, HUG ; Dimitri Van De Ville, EPFL, UNIGE )\nCombining Deep Learning with Traditional Methods for Head Motion Estimation and Hallucination-Free Artifact Correction in Brain MRI\nOscar Dabrowski (PI: Sébastien Courvoisier, UNIGE ; François Lazeyras, HUG)\nCartibeads study: imaging analysis on MRI and results on knee cartilage grafts\nSana Boudabbous (PI: Philippe Tscholl, HUG; Jacques Menetrey, HUG)\n\n\n12h00 Lunch + Posters\n\n14h00 Session 3 Chaired by Olaf Blanke\n\n\nAnatomical and functional correlates of updating components in working memory\nEmilie Marti (PI: Radek Ptak, HUG)\nStructural connectomes in epilepsy for functional coupling\nEmeline Mullier (PI: Serge Vulliémoz, HUG; Patric Hagmann, CHUV)\nDopaminergic treatments in Parkinson’s disease lead to hallucinations through enhanced fronto-striatal connectivity\nFosco Bernasconi (PI: Olaf Blanke, EPFL)\nAttention and Emotion in Adolescents with ADHD; a Time-Varying Functional Connectivity Study\nHalima Rafi (PI: Martin Debbané, UNIGE)\n\n\n15h20 Tea Break\n\n15h40 Session 4 Chaired by Dimitri Van De Ville \n\nNetworks of Fatigue: Investigating (dis)connectivity markers of cognitive and affective scores post-stroke via PLSC\nFabienne Windel (PI: Friedhelm Hummel, EPFL)\nCountervail mild cognitive impairment with music or psychomotor training\nDamien Marie (PI: Clara James, HES, UNIGE)\nLearning to regulate subliminal perception in the healthy human brain\nLucas Peek (PI: Patrik Vuilleumier, UNIGE)\nExploring language and cognition with multimodal imaging in the NCCR Evolving Language: the Aptitude Work Package\nAlessandra Rampinini (PI: Narly Golestani, UNIGE)\n\n\n17h00 Closing\n\n \n REGISTER NOW HERE\n \n \n SUBMIT POSTER INFO HERE\n \n
